You wouldn’t know Simon Sinek, <insert important person you look up to for business advice here> if it wasn’t for marketing…

No one’s personal brand magically appears without them having done something to make sure they’re seen.

Half of the marketing we see… we don’t even think of as marketing.

Yet for them, I promise you it is deeply intentional.

And no, AI can’t do it for you. (That’s a whole other email.)

I always love how people idolize these people saying that Apple wouldn't have the cult following it does now if it wasn’t for Steve Jobs, and great branding.

Yes Apple’s branding is excellent…

But Steve Jobs wouldn’t have been known if it wasn’t for marketing.

That Author you love? Marketing.

The way you feel so passionate about owning a Samsung over an apple, MARKETING.

The political party you vote for (even if its because your parents vote for them also) Marketing

The reason we think we calcium is best absorbed from dairy… MARKETING.

Marketing has been happening since the dawn of time.

“Egyptians used papyrus to make sales messages and wall posters. Commercial messages and political campaign displays have been found in the ruins of Pompeii and Arabia and lost and found advertising on papyrus was common in Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome.” -

And some marketing was done so well it’s just become societal norms
