Are you going to be worth more or less than a self-learning intelligent algorithm like GPT-3 now licenced to Microsoft by the time you enter the workforce? This question was posed to groups of young people worldwide looking at the Hult International Busines School offerings at recent Webinars run my Belinda Noakes and me.
We first asked them how much they expected to earn and intended to deliver in terms of meaningful financial and human value creation as well as purposeful outcomes. So that they could see what their point of difference might be, then came the cold reality of what business automation looks like with Low Code app creation possibilities, again, using Microsoft's PowerApps to underline what complex integrated back-office based apps they could make today. By the time they hit the workforce, GPT-3 may be part of the mix, throw the problem at GPT-3 and watch it build the business-oriented App solution that you imagined possible. Reminding them that there target customers will probably have a GPT-3. What's the point of difference then, we asked them to research and ponder on.
We didn't take them to the next stage, where Elon Musk and his neuralink.com brain implant business intends to link everyday computing, including an army of GPT-3, directly to your brain with fast two-way communications. But, I can ask you, what will your net-worth be in the world that awaits us all?
