You Are Where You Are Supposed To Be

You Are Where You Are Supposed To Be

Quitters quit. Winners rest. Know the difference. I was meditating the other day, and those words came to me. When I was a younger man, I quit many things. I quit on people, jobs and there was a time when I pretty much quit on life. In my early 20's though, it all changed.?

I do have this relaxed, carefree attitude that I don't think will ever change. And I still will walk away from people who are not deserving of a seat at my table. It's not done out of judgement. It is done out of empowerment. It is so empowering to choose you, rather than to let external distractions take you off course. So I will walk away. It's not quitting. It is resting. Having a rested spirit allows you to create magic.?

However, there is a time and place for quitting. Hopefully, we grow on a consistent basis. And there will be times in life where you started a journey, that you did not have access to the information that you have now. You grew. So that job or relationship is no longer appropriate for you. And that's okay. Not every venture or relationship is meant to last forever. So what are we talking about in terms of quitting...

Outside influences that derail you. Learn to feel, rather than think. We can spin up some pretty good stories in our heads. But energy does not lie. Which is why I meditate. I would rather miss out, than get messed up. Meditation teaches us to learn through love and wisdom, rather that pride and pain. It is easier to take a rest, than to quit...which often comes with collateral?damage.?

If you're going to quit, quit on beating yourself up. Quit on journey's that do not allow for growth. Quit on the idea that you have to be everything for everyone. I promise the people who love you for you, will not be upset. They will not quit on you. Because when you vibrate on a higher frequency, you attract what is best for you. Quitting will no longer be relevant. You have learned to rest. You are where you are supposed to be.?
