Today I want to share a gentle reminder I received in meditation
It is our responsibility to tend to our inner world to assist our outer world situations. Especially the crisis we are currently experiencing.
What do I mean by this?
To best serve humanity we need to cultivate our inner state of being, to reflect what we desire to see in the world.
For instance, I desire inner peace and calm not only for myself, but for those around me and those I serve. I must be the ripple in the pond. If I cultivate my own state of being to be one of calm and inner peace, I can have a direct impact on all those around me.
Your mental and emotional state cannot be agitated and angry and be peaceful and calm at the same time. You can however, repattern and rewire the brain to allow for peace and calm to be your primary set point.
This is precisely what I teach you in my coaching programs…
You begin by living mindfully aware when angry thoughts come to mind or an agitated feeling takes over your state of being.
Remember thoughts are created by emotions. Ask yourself, "How can I see these emotions as they are, allow myself to accept that I am feeling them and then with love and compassion navigate the waters of awareness to process and release these feelings?"
Emotions are impermanent they crest and recede likes waves in the sea of awareness.
By me choosing to address my own needs to release what no longer serves me I change my emotions, that reflect my thoughts that create my actions the result in my life experiences. I directly impact those around me and subsequently change what I experience and see in the world.
