You are what you eat.
What are you engaged with at this moment? Are you sipping on your favorite cup of coffee? Or munching on your favorite snack? Are you working on a project with depleted levels of interest? Whatever it is that you have yourself engaged with, I would like your attention. Consider this as an alarm, a reminder to check what you are subjecting your body to.
The saying ‘you are what you eat’ clichéd, but the meaning mammoth. This holds true not just for food, but everything we put our bodies through. Eating healthy is not always an easy choice to make especially when we have access to fast food on the go. Though the cheese, fries, chips, tacos, etc. may be lip smacking, there are the main drivers of fatigue and lethargy. On a cheat day, when you munch on a healthy bowl of sprouts or a mix veggie smoothie, I assure that you would have got more done that day.
Eating healthy opens doors to a positive and healthy mind. A stressed and anxious mind may push you towards over eating, unknowingly. Some may resort to smoking to combat stress. Perhaps it works as a medium of deviating from the present state, when it is a temporary fix.
Like many things in today's society we tend to treat the symptoms that we see rather than the root cause.
We keep thinking about what is happening right now rather than what it is that is causing us to take the actions we are taking.
