Have you ever seen a Rolls Royce advertisement on YouTube? See it here if you wish. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7NgWEN3Py4
The advertisement is as classy as the car itself. We all know that the owners of Rolls Royce are a different class apart from other car owners.
RR has shown its concern towards who drives its cars before. They had released well-written ads on how the owner's personality will change when they buy their cars. But, in the 1980s, Rolls Royce started giving their cars for lease- letting everyone experience the luxury of driving the best. You own a car and then you own a Rolls Royce. The car is not sold just to those who wish to buy it. There is a process where it is decided if the person wishing to buy it is fit enough to be its owner or not and money is not just the criteria. Here are the current prices of 2020 for various models of RR.
2020 Rolls-Royce Cullinan. Base price: $327,750. ...
2020 Rolls-Royce Ghost. Base price: $315,000 (est.) ...
2020 Rolls-Royce Wraith. Base price: $322,500. ...
2020 Rolls-Royce Dawn. Base price: $346,300. ...
2020 Rolls-Royce Phantom. Base price: $450,000. ...
2020 Rolls-Royce Phantom EWB. Base price: $492,425.
Aside from the cost of ownership, maintenance, and repair, actually driving these kinds of luxury cars that might cost a quarter million to over a million dollars may not actually be a pleasant experience for us. But the class that uses such high end luxury cars the cost of high maintenance is not an issue. That isn’t to say they don’t drive or perform well. In fact, quite the opposite, these cars are typically at the pinnacle of performance and comfort. Rolls-Royce built its initial reputation on superior engineering, performance, and durability. To demonstrate the capabilities of their cars, the company fielded their vehicles at early endurance races of the period.
The Richest Indian Industrialist Mukesh Ambani has the Rolls Royce Drophead Coupe in his garage that can be purchased in India at roughly Rs 7.6 crores. The car gets power from a 6.75L, V12 engine that is good for producing 549 bhp of power along with a peak torque of 750 Nm.
People that work hard for decades to be able to afford Rolls-Royce’s and Lamborghinis and and the Ferrari’s may come to the realization that they’re too stressed whenever they drive these cars. They cost as much as a home, so owners need to be very careful everywhere they go. Constantly worrying about scrapping the front end of a low supercar or worried about whether the Rolls will fit in a parking space or garage. Not to mention the fact that these cars get lots of attention anywhere they’re driven, something that definitely isn’t for everyone. Also, in the event that these cars do get damaged it may take months to get simple parts like bumpers or fenders as they may need to be ordered or remade from the factory in Europe.
When their business did very well over the years, one guy bought himself a Ferrari and a Rolls-Royce, at first neighbours were kind of jealous and wanted to do the same, but whenever this guy drove either of those cars into work, he always left to check on it every hour. Just bringing those kinds of cars to work was a stressful event for him, he was worried about it getting keyed or stolen. He also hated it whenever people would take selfies of the vehicle as well. There were also times where the guy just wanted to be left alone and just drive the cars in peace. He’d often get asked a bunch of questions about the car when he parked at a gas station or a stranger may ask if their son or daughter could sit in the Ferrari. Those were things he didn’t usually mind, but it was pretty frustrating for him when a few kids tracked mud all over the carpets. He had also been stopped by the police on more than one occasion, not for speeding, just because they were curious about the car.
If you’re ever fortunate enough to be able to afford one of these cars my recommendation would be to work your way up to it, to start with a Mercedes, BMW, or Porsche and if you’re nervous about driving those, you may want to hold off before pulling the trigger on a Rolls. But if you are owning a Toyota or any such car models please do not give advice about car maintenance of a Rolls Royce because RR is a class apart for everything they do.
