It You Want More, (Do this)...

When I was a kid, my dad gave my sister a $5 dollar a week allowance and he gave me .50 cents. One day I figured that out, and said "WTH?"
He said to me, "if you want more money, go out and earn it."
I took that message quite literally and seized every opportunity that I could, given my age.
I had not one, but three paper routes;
I mowed lawns in the Summer; I raked leaves in the Fall;
I shoveled snow-covered driveways in the winter;
I hung Christmas lights during the holidays;
I found old items and fixed them up and resold them...
And, so on.
I took advantage of every opportunity I could to make "more" money.
Because of my early success, my dad found a book at a Flea Market called "How I Raised Myself from Failure to Success in Selling" by Frank Bettger and gave it to me as a joke. (I still have that book!)
Little did he know his lesson and that joke gift would affect me in such a powerful way.
These days, I am no different. However imperfect I am about it, I am always striving to get the most out of every opportunity. My Dad and other mentors have taught me well.
My philosophy: "Get the best, most advantageous result possible from everything you do."
In other words, get "leverage" on everything you do to grow your business.
Most businesses leave tons of money on the table.
My question for you is: How much profit are you leaving "on the table" with each customer or connection you come in contact with?
A little known fact: You can probably earn lots more with little or no extra effort, investment or risk.
