Are You Unemployed And Upset?

Are you unemployed and upset about how your job search is going?

It's bad enough that you lost your job, but when you realize the job search advice you were given doesn't work ... that probably makes your blood boil.

When you realize the advice you were given by outplacement, most career coaches, or the resume you had written by a professional resume writer isn't working, you deserve to be upset.

Outplacement advisors, most career coaches and professional resume writers have been taught basic resume/job search strategies in their certification training, based around random applications, volume and hoping you'll get lucky. But in 2024's highly competitive job market, this basic advice isn't enough for 90% of unemployed job seekers, especially those who also present other risk factors to employers (age 40+, changing career/industry/location, seeking remote position/raise/promotion, bouncy recent career, long term unemployment and other long term risk factors).

And this year, the job market is even more competitive for senior staff, management, executive and C level candidates.

That's why over 50% of unemployed job seekers reported in a recent LinkedIn poll that their job search was taking 6 months or longer, and they were long-term unemployed.

There's a solution to these problems, that will make your unemployment job search much faster, even if you present these risk factors.

But to get better job search results faster, when you're unemployed and present employers risk in a highly competitive job market, you'll need to do more than currently employed job seekers. You'll need to do more than apply to a bunch of jobs, hoping you'll get lucky, because doing more of what's not working isn't going to help you.

Unless you make some major changes, you'll get the same results that are making you upset.
