Meet the family that started Ode Toronto, a family-owned hotel in Toronto, Ontario. In the centre of the photo is Erica Herbert, founder and mother, surrounded by her family. Erica immigrated from Tobago to Canada at 11 years old with her brother and sister. She grew up in Toronto and later earned a BA in Commerce from the University of Toronto. When she became a mother, Erica and her children fell in love with Dundas St. West. In 2021, the family opened Ode Toronto on Dundas St. West to be a part of the vibrant neighbourhood with their own twist.
