Are You Trying to Save the World?

The other day a coach wrote to me asking about her business strategy and how she can smash her money goals this month.
?
She was struggling to get everything done, constantly feeling overwhelmed and exhausted, and yet she only had three clients.
?
When I asked her about how she was spending her time, I was amazed to hear that not only was she spending hours creating graphics on Canva, rewriting her website, rebranding her business and researching podcasting, she was also? trying to set up a charity, volunteering at her kids’ school and had signed up as a treasurer for another charity (a 15 hour a month commitment).
?
No wonder she’s drowning!
?
And this conversation made me want to write this email to you as a reminder - because this amazing talented lady is not alone. I’ve been there, and I’m sure you have too.
?
There are two things going on here – the first is keeping ourselves busy with non-essential ‘business’ tasks.? Seriously – you really don’t need a new logo to get more clients.
?
But did you spot the second pitfall most heart-centred entrepreneurs fall into?? Yep, she’s in the ‘Save The World’ trap.
?
We are so often stuck in the “busyness” of business and on grander philanthropic plans.
?
We want to do our bit to serve our community, save the planet, or? fix a global problem.
?
Only one tiny problem…
?
We can’t do it when we are broke, depleted, and have no free time.
?
We’ve got it all wrong and backwards.
?
We can’t heal anyone if we are not making enough money to not only sustain ourselves and our families but to fulfil our desires.
?
And NO, IT IS NOT SELFISH.
?
Think about it for a second.
?
Instead of focusing on how to grow, scale, make more money with ease and finally step away from your business without getting worried that everything is going to fall apart - we are making our lives even more complicated.

We are spending the already scarce free time that we have on trying to do philanthropic work and then get burnt out and overwhelmed and frankly, exhausted.
?
Our families don’t see us or they see us angry, dissatisfied and annoyed. We have no free time for creativity, motivation, our own bodies and self-care. We are so emotionally drained that any internal conflict becomes a full-blown warfare at home. Doing fun things is never on the menu. Serving our clients with integrity is borderline impossible because we are barely hanging in there as it is…
?
This is what I offer instead: we give, when we have not only enough, but when we have an overflow. We give from a cup that is so abundant, giving is a joy, not just another item on the to-do list!
?
And then it goes for everything: money, energy, time, knowledge, expertise.
?
We do not give from what we do not have.
?
You only give from lack when you are hiding, my friend. Hiding from everything you can become and achieve really fast, should you focus on ONE THING AT A TIME.
?
Why? Because sometimes success means leaving something and/or someone behind...and that is really really scary.
?
What’s the solution? Focus on making money in your business first.
?
Focus on making yourself feel happy and fulfilled and THEN go into philanthropy. Because, otherwise, we just have a damn good excuse to be stuck in our scarcity mode and never achieve what we are so capable of that it makes us scared.
?
The only way to come out of this place is to realise that you can do your philanthropic endeavours faster and better when you make the money you need to bring your business and yourself to the next level.
?
Otherwise, it’s trying to save the world while drowning yourself.
?
Imagine being able to gift $50…or $500 to your favourite philanthropic project every time you made a sale, or creating a business that allowed you to thrive creatively AND spiritually while taking every Friday off to do your charity work?
?
Ready to come out of hiding, transform your money mindset and skyrocket your revenue?
?
Message me and let’s have a conversation about how you can do it WITHOUT doubling your workload or client load.
