Do you feel trapped in your life?
The truth is that most people at some time feel trapped in their lives, careers and relationships. At some point we've all been there in periods where we feel like we're stuck in a rut.
It's common to feel like you're going through the motions, that everybody else's lives have passed you by whilst yours just hasn't progressed at all.
Doing the same old things that don't excite you anymore, giving you a huge feeling of being trapped in that place with no way out.
Feeling exhausted as the more you try to get out of this feeling, the more stuck you feel.
Instead of moving forward toward your goals, you feel stagnant and frustrated with your life as the monotony of your thoughts take over, making your life feel boring and meaningless.

It can be very difficult and unfortunately we all get stuck in a rut from time to time.
But remember you are not alone and many others have felt like this and overcome it.
Here are five simple and effective things that can get you out of the routine.
1. Engage your body.?
When we feel stuck, we immediately think it's something to do with our head, our mindset, or our beliefs, not paying attention to our body, so when you feel stuck, stop overthinking, and start engaging your body, do something physical, like go to the gym, go for a bike ride, or just get up and go for a walk.
Sometimes moving your body can help you get unstuck and start you doing something productive again.
2. Think about talking about it or writing it down.?
Whenever I'm feeling stuck I find that by saying what the problem is, instead of it keeping going around the same thoughts in my head over and over again, it can break the cycle, allowing me to acknowledge the thought and hear the problem out loud, allowing us to detach ourselves from those thoughts and start identifying the patterns that are keeping us stagnant.
3. Start easy.?
Sometimes taking any action is completely overwhelming, meaning that even our daily activities are a combination of lots of actions that we put together, which can lead to having no energy to get out of the rut.
However, by taking small, easy steps and being proud that you complete each one of them means that the big tasks will seem easier.
4. Try something new.?
Doing the same thing over and over again, trying to get a different outcome, well, when you're feeling stuck, try something new, it doesn't even have to make sense or be related to what you're doing, but by doing the new thing that is different to your normal routine, you never know how it can impact your life.
5. Get help.?

Only when you realise that to get out of this situation you're in, you may need some support. You'll be surprised at the amount of people who are unable to overcome their situation of their own.
There is no shame in asking or accepting help for you to be able to live the life that you desire and deserve. You might be amazed by some of the people who have done this.
Don't let routine steal the harmony out of your life.
We're all able to live the limitless life and get results that we want, allowing every morning to be an opportunity as opposed to a burden, only by realising that we can have more in our life by taking immediate action are we able to live a more fulfilled and satisfied life.
