Has anyone ever told you you’re too sensitive or need to chill and be patient for a bit?
Most of us have probably heard this. It is even more likely if you are highly sensitive or neurodivergent.
Actually, 100% of people are either sensitive or very particular about something or other, and it is easy to poke someone who is sensitive about something that you don’t care about, but be assured tables turn ;)
What they don’t now is how patient and compromising you are everyday dealing with the world that does not fit your neurotype and sensory profile.
I am running 40% off discount week and I am talking to a lot of neurodivergent and highly sensitive women who experience this on the regular.
No, you don’t need to chill and be patient. The world needs to be more accepting and inclusive.
But while we’re building a better world, it would help you to:
Find a way to ground yourself and soothe your nervous system with an approach that works for you – your lifestyle, your neurotype, your brain, your circumstances, and sensitivity level. It is absolutely possible no matter your circumstances.
Then you will be able to neutralise the outside stressors AND heal the subconscious stress that keeps you wired even when you’re resting.
