Are You Tired of Playing the Game by Yourself?


Are you tired of being the person that does all the work in your business ? Have you ever complained that you wish your employees or even colleagues worked half as hard as you do? If you have, then there’s one key thing that you’re missing in your business. That's a thing called LEVERAGE.

Leverage is the ability to do more and more on a bigger scale, within a smaller time frame. Leverage is your business’s ability to reach more people, sell more products and do more trading in the world. Leverage is a principle that is as old as civilization itself. The Greek philosophers spoke about it. Scientists from the beginning of the discipline have implemented it. LEVERAGE is every great Entrepreneurs goal... TO ACHIEVE MORE BY DOING LESS!

A wheelbarrow, a pair of pliers, glasses and binoculars are all forms of leverage. They are answers to the need for control, for growth and for progress. When you find a way to leverage yourself, your services, your expertise and your products, you dramatically change your results. You create a business EXPLOSION!

Most small businesses don't create leverage because they play the game of business alone. They don’t see the world around them, or the people around them as an opportunity to create leverage. They avoid building networks and growing teams.

That's not your fault, you were conditioned to play by yourself. To do the hard work by yourself. Where were you taught that? At school. Did you pass school by working on a team? Well, when I was at school, I tried it and it was called cheating. You have been conditioned to play by yourself. To achieve success by yourself.

That is sadly hard, lonely, and frustrating for most self-employed business owners, and for many many managers in the corporate world too. But you don't have to stay there! The way out is to create leverage. You create leverage in your business, with your team, and with your network. And you exercise your leverage by learning how to SELL.

  • When you sell your ideas and your visions, you create leverage.
  • When you connect with people and truly understand where they’re coming from, you create trust. When you build trust, you build a base to create leverage.
  • When you can create a mission for a team of like minded people to follow you and get behind you, you create leverage.
  • When you create a sense of urgency to achieve that Mission as a team, you create leverage.
  • When you move past yourself, you create leverage.

If you’re tired of doing things by yourself or tired of being the magic in your business, it’s time to learn the power of leverage.

Frank Sinatra sang, “I Did It My Way” not “I did it by myself”. Food for thought...Self-made millionaires don't exist, they had a team of people around them who they learnt how to leverage. What decision are you going to make. Play by yourself or create leverage?

Thats only part of the issue. Too many times we have been let down by people or we feel that we do it better by ourselves, so we end up preferring to do things by ourselves. On the other side of the coin, we probably dont have the skills to determine who the correct people are to help us get to where we want to go. My 2c worth.
