Someone who was born in the late 1800's and was blessed with longevity lived through WWI, WWII, swine flu, the dust bowl and the great depression... That's going through some stuff and yet they ended up producing one of the greatest generations our country has ever had. I read this verse and can't help but think that God is looking on us now, as we complain about tough times, and He is saying, 'You think this is bad?!? What will you do when it get's really bad'. (We'd stock up on toilet paper). I am not saying this to diminish anyone's tough times, but to maybe change the focus. If we focus on the blessings EVEN in the tough times, we will get through the tough times better and with the satisfaction of seeing God's blessings. You can't see something if your not looking. Look for the blessings to get through the tough times and have a blessed weekend!
