Hello everyone, I am ARUN KUMAR, CEO and Founder of DIGIFY TECH

I am from a middle-class family, my dad is a government employee, mom is a housewife and I have two siblings (Elder brother and younger sister).

As I said I have two siblings so my dad wants to see my elder brother as a doctor, my younger sister as a teacher and me as an engineer, yes it is as same as all the south Indian films

In the year 2011, I have enrolled in Mechanical Engineering with the hope of designing my own cars, bikes etc

But within a month I got to know that, this engineering syllabus cannot teach us how to design our own cars, bikes but will teach how to score above 70 marks in the exams.

So I lost the complete interest in engineering, just for the sake of my dad I was supposed to continue.

I had 7 back logs in the 3rd year of engineering, so I couldn’t able to go for the final year of engineering.

I suppose to be at home for the next year.

And during that one year, I have gone through lots of emotional problems as friends, relatives, neighbours etc started to humiliate me.

One such day I was thinking as am I loser? What I know to do in my life? How can I earn money? Who will pay me the money?

How can I prove to those people as I am not a loser? and much more thought-provoking questions in my mind.

And then I took a book and a pen to write the list of things that I know to do,

To be frank, I wrote as I know to use WhatsApp, I know to use facebook, I know to use youtube, I know to use google, for more than 10 hours a day, other than this I don’t know anything to do.

Then I planned to start something on my own by using google, youtube, WhatsApp, facebook etc to earn money.

I had started to do research on how to make money online by using these social media and search engines, so finally I came to that we can make money from youtube and websites by monetising with ads and affiliate programs.

I started the entertainment youtube channel and continuously uploaded the videos but the views are hardly from 10 to 20.

I got fed up with these views so I have to do some research on how to get views and subscribers, from here I got to know about Keyword Research, On-page and off-page SEO, google trends etc., I felt interested and I decided to dive further deep into these topics.

And at some point in my time, I came to know the exact term as “Digital Marketing” which contains all these social media and search engine related works.

Then I conveyed to my mom as I will choose my career in digital marketing.

My mom felt sad and confused about the word digital marketing and career in the same. I started to explain to my mom about digital marketing and its future.

My mom felt little confidence in me to choose my career in digital marketing (As my parents know that I know only to use mobiles, laptop in my life :))

And my mom insisted me to take up the course on digital marketing in Bangalore, I took nearly 30 days to choose the best digital marketing institute in Bangalore and finally I had to choose one of the leading digital marketing institutes but my good luck from that institute I learnt “how we shouldn’t provide the digital marketing training”.

Not only that institute, most of the institute provides only theoretical knowledge in digital marketing so I have decided to start my own digital marketing training centre which can provide the complete practical knowledge but at that time I didn’t have enough practical knowledge in digital marketing.

Somehow I had to complete the digital marketing course from that institute.

Then I started to attend the paid webinars which were conducted by the industry experts from all over the world on topics like SEO, Social Media, SEM, Email Marketing etc.,

And I had invested nearly ?2,00,000 on paid practical course from many industry experts on digital marketing and started the habit of reading the industry experts blogs, watching their videos to learn the each and every aspect of this digital marketing.

After a couple of months of complete dedication towards digital marketing, I thought now I can start my own digital marketing training centre but my mom insisted me to take a job for few months so that I can learn the work culture, networking etc.,

As my mom said I started to apply for the job in start-up companies, where I believed that one can learn many things by working in start-up companies.

By god grace, on the first day of applying for the job I got the reply for face to face interview.

On February 14th 2018, I went for the interview. Out of 40 candidates, I have got selected as a "DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE". That day all the insults and struggles that I faced in my life have got into my mind like a movie trailer.

February 19th 2018, I joined one of the energetic start-up in Bangalore.

From that day, my professional journey has been started in the field of Digital Marketing.

I have given my best work in the terms of company growth, within the 4 months of my job, the business has grown 10x of its previous year and started to make nearly ?10,00,000 per month consistently through my digital marketing work.

I always dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur to provide value to struggling business owners so I had to quit the job to start my own career. I submitted my resignation letter on September 19th 2018 but our CEO was unhappy to leave a team member like me.

So they offered me hike in a salary, reducing the number of working days and hours etc.,

But I believed in my decision to quit the job and to start my own start-up so I conveyed my wishes and dreams to them, they felt okay and they wished for my future and honoured me with the title of “The Most Productive Team Member”.

On November 19th 2018, with the support of my family, inaugurated my start-up called DIGIFY TECH that provides digital marketing services which include practical training too.

and my previous company is my first client in my own start-up and still, they are my client because they believe my work ethics and dedication towards the work.

Now it has completed 18 months of the journey as a Founder and CEO in my start-up, by providing SEO and other valuable digital marketing services to my clients and training to my students.

As my dad wish, my elder brother became a doctor and my younger sister became a teacher and as I wish I became an entrepreneur.

Yes, of course, it is difficult to build a start-up but I believe as an entrepreneur we should believe in the process.

I strongly believe in the process, in this process I believe that I can help as many as business owners or founders to grow their business or students career, I work for my clients or students satisfaction and I work for my satisfaction.

“My students are happy and my clients are happy and if you become as my client or student then I am sure that I will make you be happy and let us be happy”.

I must thank my parents, my brother and sister, my first students Aishwarya, Meghana and other students, my clients, my relatives, my friends for believing me and my work.
