Are you stopping to reflect on your goals?

Day 21 of the Learning Rebels Challenge and I always spend the last day of each month doing a bit of reflection and planning. I thought I would share my process and the questions I ponder.
It all starts with reviewing my key goals or focus for the month and reflect on what I did throughout the month to work towards that goal. As I review the list, I reflect on:
- Where am I at in achieving my goal? What progress have I made?
- What did I do that really helped me work towards accomplishing that goal? If I find a method or action that worked, it's something I want to repeat.
- What didn't help me in my journey? This is simply a reflection and time to learn from what didn't work.
- Is this something that I need or want to continue working on? Is it adding value to my life?
Here is how July played out for me. This month, one of my key goals was to determine if I was going to launch my own personal blog and if so, identify the next steps and take action on at least three of them. I started doing some research on platforms, etc...and pondering what value it would add to my life and how it would help me reach my other goals. A few days in to the month, I saw Shannon Tipton's post about the 30 Day Brainstorm Challenge and it seemed like she was speaking directly to me. It was a way for me to start to find my voice and play with sharing via a blog.
So that's what I've been doing this past month. Using the challenge to work towards my July goal. I'm quite happy with my progress on my goal and have decided to launch a blog in August. It was a good month....and I have this challenge (and Chief Learning Rebel Shannon Tipton) to thank for helping me out with it!
