You Should Never Ignore VOICE ASSISTANTS & Here’s why...

Amazon Alexa is the first widely used Voice Search technology. You use other tech like SIRI, GOOGLE NOW and maybe BIXBY by Samsung. All of these are called ...

Virtual Assistants or Voice Assistants.

It's important to understand this today because of your answer to this question:

W/c one is easier, TYPING COMMANDS or SAYING COMMANDS?

Consider you come home from a tiring day.

You press the garage door opener device to open the garage door. (If you're in a developed country)

You unlock the door.

You flick the lights on as you come into the door.

You sorta fiddle with your device to play some music if you remember it.

You put some water into a container to boil it for coffee or tea.

NOW THE VOICE SEARCH FUTURE looks like this:

You come home to a tiring day.

You drive up to your street - and seeing your gate, you just SAY "Open garage door" --and the Alexa in your phone (or car) will obey.

The garage door will open by itself.

Your hands are on the wheel. Safe.

You get out of the car, and say "Unlock main door" - and the house's main door locks become unlocked as you walk towards it - hands full of stuff from the car.

You enter the living room and the lights turn on automatically - you DO NOT HAVE TO SAY ANYTHING. (You set this up earlier).

Rock music starts playing from your living room speakers.

You don't like the song so you say "Play Christian Chillout" and it does.

You don't need to touch or look at anything.

Your coffee maker starts brewing the coffee you left this morning- automatically- only after you enter the door.

THE FUTURE I DESCRIBED is not the FUTURE.

It's already happening.

There are millions of ALEXA LOCKS, APPLIANCES in the KITCHEN etc already in Developed Nation homes.

Now, some devices - don't have speakers - like the LOCKS and Door Openers, door bells, coffee makers- but they DO obey the Speaker /phones / computers devices (those devices that can TALK).

This is the connected home.

YES, it's not happening in the Philippines yet (Except that house in Cebu in Youtube featuring Alodia) - but you can bet your VA clients are beginning to live in homes like that.

ALEXA may not be the tech of the future- future - but's a widespread example of what's coming in the world of MARKETING.

WHY? Because your clients - the MARKETERS - are already USING ALEXA to market to clients like the way RADIO is used to market SOAP.

History Lesson about SOAP:

Dove wanted to sell soap so they created radio dramas about housewives - to sell SOAP, hence the word "Soap Opera").

IF RADIO was an effective way to sell, you can bet the VOICE ASSISTANTS are also an effective way to sell.

Remember Amazon -the biggest store in the world - created Alexa - put the two together and you can see a VOICE ACTIVATED STORE - that has entered the household.

"Alexa, buy me some eggs - order the same as last week."

"Alexa, what's the latest discount on 1 Ream Bond Paper?"

"Alexa, I need a tool to fix the sink..."

PODCASTS

Audio podcasts have returned to the scene and tons of marketers now have their own podcasts.

And since ALEXA is a Voice device, it's natural that you can listen to podcasts using it.

Alexa however has an extra MARKETING tool - it's call the FLASH BRIEFING. It's like a podcast but it's daily and very short. It's like reading the HEADLINES for you.

That's why I have this new ALEXA FLASH BRIEFING Creation course and it includes a PODCASTING course too.

It's great for newbies.

THIS COURSE IS FREE for Virtual Careers Academy TV members. https://virtualcareersacademy.com/p/tv
