As the idea of humanising the workplace gains ground, the importance of building Servant Leaders is becoming more important. This is an approach to leadership that puts employees at the top and leaders at the bottom taking the responsibility of serving their team members.

Put simply, a Servant Leader is someone who leads and achieves goals by serving those they lead. They serve them by uplifting them and empowering them to perform at their best.

Empowered teams will perform at a high, innovative level. With Servant Leadership team members feel more engaged and purpose-driven, which in turn increases the organisation's retention and lowers turnover costs.
