The current era that we are in has been called the Age of Distrust or the Post Trust Era. 

With the introduction of the internet and all of the fraud, lies, and manipulation exposed it is no longer enough to say "just trust me".

Trust is one of the most important elements to achieving success in sales. You must inspire trust in other and that is non-negotiable. 

But what inspires trust? 

You have to embody an attitude of giving and make a commitment to serving at the highest level possible. Giving Service! 

You are required to put the needs, wants, dreams, and desires of your prospects ahead of your own. 

Be humble and think only of service because this also helps you take away the anxiety of having sales conversations. 

Understand where people people are coming ffrom and be free of judgement. You have to show respect for their opinions, attitudes, ideas, and perspectives of your prospects.

Allow them to be right and keep this in mind one of our biggest roadblocks to influencing human behavior is that our sense of morality unconsciously filters our perceptions of others. 

If you let it and are not aware it will invisibly alters the way you interact with people. 

You have to validate your prospects and put yourself in their shoes and understand them. Celebrate the place inside them where you are connected. 

Your prospects can smell manipulation so be honest because they can just look you up online. 

Go into your interaction with a generous heart and make sure the relationship is not one sided. 

Selfishness Repels! Generosity Attracts! 

You can master trust and inspire it in your prospects... Align your goals with your prospect and understand how they see the world. 

Be sure to craft your encounters for success and truly connect with them and you can be successful in the Age of Distrust.
