Are You Self-Aware? A Mini Self-Assessment

One way to develop greater self-awareness is to do a self-assessment. Here are some questions that can help you do this.

1.? When you make a mistake, does it disrupt your day?

2.? Do you accept the fact that you were not as good at something or as smart as you thought you were?

3.? How do you cope with situations that force you to see yourself differently?

4.? Do you feel uncomfortable receiving praise from others frequently?

5.? Do you compare your standards to those of others?

6.? Do you frequently criticize your own work?

7.? Do you feel guilty when you have not performed to standards?

8.? Do you agonize over your performance after a failure?

9.???? Do you compare your performance to the performance of others?

10.? Do you understand how your characteristics and experiences have made you who you are today?

11.? Do you understand how your personal characteristics lead to your behaviour in different situations?

12.? Do you use diverse perspectives to arrive at new conclusions about yourself?

13.? Do your friends describe you as someone who knows themself well?

14.? After a major accomplishment, do you sit back and enjoy the moment?

15.? Do you know what positive qualities you bring to a relationship, and also your flaws?

16.? Do you consciously think about the ways your thoughts and emotions influence your behavior?

17.? Do your friends describe you as sometimes introspective?

18.? Do you spend time alone so you can have time to think and reflect?

19.? Do you ponder over how to improve yourself from knowledge of previous experiences?

20.? Do you frequently have an "a-ha" moment about yourself, a moment of insight and understanding?

21.? Do you spend thinking about the reasons for your behaviors?

22.? You seek out feedback from others regarding your character and behavior and their perspective of who you are as a person.

23.? What makes you feel great??

24.? What drains your energy?

25.? When do you feel most productive?

26.? What are your biggest challenges and fears?

27.? How would you describe your communication style?

28.? What traits in others annoy you?

29.? Would you describe yourself as an empathetic, compassionate and kind person?

30.? What are your good and bad habits?

31.? If you could change one thing in the world, what would you change?

32.? What is your definition of success?

33.? What does your perfect day look like?

34.? How would you like people to remember you?

35.? What is your life purpose?

36.? What is most meaningful for you in life?
