If You See Something, Say Something!

"If You See Something, Say Something?" is the Homeland Security national campaign that raises public awareness of the signs of terrorism and other crimes and how to report suspicious activity to local, state and federal law enforcement.

We all play a role in keeping our communities safe, so as you’re going about your day, if you see something that doesn’t seem quite right, say something.

Trust your instincts, if something doesn't feel right and you are concerned, report it and let law enforcement investigate, recognizing suspicious signs?and how to report suspicious activity.?

The 5Ws: To Include in Your Report

If you see suspicious activity, report it to law enforcement and describe what you observed by using the 5W's:

• Who?you saw (description)
• What?you saw (actions)
• When?you saw it (what time)
• Where?it occurred (location)
• Why?it’s suspicious (your concerns)
