Are You Searching for Stardom or Is It Searching for You?

Are You Searching for Stardom or Is It Searching for You?

Fame and fortune. Your name in lights...stardom!

At work…amongst your friends…in school…wherever...

Who doesn’t want a shot at it?

Yet, as a dream and aspiration, it was once easier to envision, imagine, and maybe even achieve—at least legally.

The question is, how do you achieve stardom today?

Some people just seem to have the knack for fame and fortune; others work hard at it. Some actually earn it, while some stumble into it, and others pursue it forever and never achieve it.

For the knack, think the Kardashians, Paris Hilton, and Trump. For hard work, consider Taylor Swift and Beyoncé. For one who deserves his name in lights, think Captain Sully Sullenberger (if you don’t know who he is—look him up—true inspiration). As a stumbler, consider Oliver Anthony (look him up too...makes the point). And, of course, the ground is littered with the remains of those who have tried and tried hard—but never achieved the fame and fortune they desired.

Ask yourself which model you think will get you where you want to be—in your personal life and your business.?

Do you want to spend all your time working for it and maybe never achieve it? Or would you rather do what comes naturally and reap the rewards of satisfaction for a life well lived with a job well done, and if you happen to stumble on celebrity—it’s an added and unexpected benefit?

To bring it to a business outcome, look around and see where people are the most successful. Where are the best engagements and relationships?

Be honest. Be self-aware. Be humble.

Millions long for immortality who don't know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Susan Ertz

We are all at our best when we “Take Care of Business”…meaning deliver on our commitments, meet expectations, and supply results. Sometimes, that means doing the basics before we can get to the really “cool” stuff that seems more glamorous and alluring.

The problem is when we rush into promises and commitments that carry the assurance of immortality, but we neglect to remember that we still have to put our shoes on…one at a time.

Make that rainy Sunday radiant, despite the gloom, and you won’t have to long for immortality—it will begin to look for you.

What’s your view?

David Sable Fame alone doesn't guarantee stardom. True stardom is the art of forging emotional connections with an audience beyond one's niche. In the future, personalized and meticulously tracked engagement will redefine entertainment. The internet's role in eliminating middlemen across industries extends to celebrities, branded actors, and even the rare ubiquitous star, enabling direct audience interaction through emerging platforms.

I used to dream for fame and admired celebrity life, I worked hard to ensure that I am known but unfortunately I had no clue on what fame real was . Later came to realize that it's More admirable to be a good person rather than being known by crowds.

Two things i believe - when you are motivated by your role model (President Barack Obama) or when you are self-motivated believing impossible is possible. Both can lead you to your stardom. However, sometimes fate can lead you to extraordinary too.

David Sable Your article is amazing. Many try for it but succeed less, many do not want it but they become celebrities. All the things in our lives are not in our hands but it does not mean that we leave struggle. We should just act and leave it What will come When?
