Are You Searching for an Answer?
Our innate wisdom beckons to be heard, trusted, and followed. It is always giving us clues as to which way to turn, even if we are unaware of its influence. When we pay attention, what we need to see about ourselves and the answers to life’s pressing questions emerge in a variety of forms.
Sometimes the information we need to know presents itself to us through the words spoken by another person. He or she says exactly what we need to hear at precisely the right moment. Other times we see something that piques our curiosity and causes us to take notice. Then there are times when words seem to jump off a page, we ask for a sign that appears, or a thought comes to us as plainly as if it had been there the whole time.
What can we do to see more clearly? Several things: carve out time to be still, disconnect from technology, quiet the chaos in our lives, figure out why we may be running from ourselves or attempting to distract ourselves, spend time in nature, look for patterns, stay open-minded, and start asking questions.
The process of tuning into our inner voice also requires us to surrender. We must release our attachment to the ego if we are to allow ourselves to be guided by the still, small voice that knows the way. Only when we listen to the truth rather than the voice of fear will we be led to deeper insights.

It is in this space that we discover that the answers, although they may be buried below the surface, are in fact a part of us, and the clues that appear around us, are simply reflections of what our innermost being knows to be true.
If you are feeling uncertain, what might begin to shift if you started asking yourself questions and fed yourself the thought that you do know what to do? In time, I think you just might find that you will be guided to an answer.
