I can give you a new way getting that.


This is exactly how you get people's attention. We have a lot in common, us humans. We are driven by the same needs and interests, we might not be in the same place in life but we want to be seen, understood, liked. If we feel that someone sees us we will pay attention and stop to learn more. What we see will catch our interest and we will open our mind, remember and start learning.

How do I get you to stop scrolling?

An interesting headline that shows that you have the same struggle and goals as I do will get a person to stop, pay attention and start to engage with your content.

Tell me how

You can nail your headline, email subject line or your intro by imagining what your target audience is doing now, maybe think about the time of day, now its lunch time, they are low on inspiration, scrolling through linkedin and tictoc.

You could be working in content writing, marketing, hr, but what we have in common is that the positive content you share is not getting the attention you wished for and that you think you can do better.

Then do this

Use references that your audience will recognize. We are social animals and we want to be a part of a group we look for words and concepts that we recognize that makes us feel that we are looking in the right place. That we understand the daily struggles and our moments of success. You can relate to being late to pick up the kids, to sit with a blank page or to run a race with your colleagues. Also make sure that you promise to give a solution and keep that promise.
