Are you scared of AI? Read this...

Wherever you are, yesterday Google introduced lots of new technologies to make our lives easier, and most importantly all of the technologies had artificial intelligence used.

The intersection of AI and human intelligence presents numerous opportunities for innovation and growth. While there are a lot of concerns that AI could replace human workers, experts suggest that AI should augment human intelligence instead of replacing it. This reminds me, I had the opportunity to attend an in-person session at the Google research center Ghana, after the talks and presentations a lady gave her suggestions and she said that she is not in the IT field but the way people have been talking about artificial intelligence, that it’s going to take over the world, that’s why she came for the program. I felt it was a brilliant thing to do, we should not follow what people say about anything but make research on our own to pick and choose what to believe in.

In fact, a canvassing of experts found that networked AI has the potential to amplify human effectiveness. AI can help humans integrate information, analyze data, and use insights to make better decisions.

I believe that when you come across some problems, research them and know what it entails. We humans sometimes overthink problems, and situations in which we find ourselves. Artificial intelligence brings in so many opportunities more than it harms.

One of the opportunities that AI presents is the ability to automate repetitive tasks, which can free up time for humans to focus on more complex and creative work. AI can also help humans make better decisions by providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

In the healthcare industry, AI is already being used to develop personalized treatment plans based on a patient's medical history and genetics. AI can also be used to identify potential risks and threats in fields such as cyber security and finance. Talking about fields in which AI can be integrated is beyond comprehendible. AI can be used in so many fields to improve efficiency and productivity.

However, the intersection of AI and human intelligence also brings challenges that need to be addressed. For example, there are concerns about bias in AI systems and how they are trained, which can result in unintended consequences. This is so because the data that is being used is already biased in some nature. The way forward would be to get unbiased data that can be used to solve this problem. Additionally, there are ethical considerations to be made around the use of AI and its impact on society as a whole.

The intersection of AI and human intelligence presents a range of opportunities for innovation and growth. By augmenting human intelligence with AI, we can improve decision-making and free up time for more complex and creative work. However, it's important to address the challenges that come with AI to ensure that its benefits are realized while minimizing its negative impacts. Likewise, make research on our own to identify why and what things do happen not only with artificial intelligence but in all aspects of our lives.
