Are You Ruining Your Today By the Thoughts of Yesterday?

Are You Ruining Your Today By the Thoughts of Yesterday?

It will be a continuous cycle if you let the thoughts of yesterday to ruin today. You cannot keep holding that just because it didn’t go right the last time, it will go wrong again. You cannot go back in time and change the past. What you can do is just be aware that time is the only resource you have - you can’t waste it in thinking about silly things, instead, make the best use of it.

So, what will it be?

During my entrepreneurial journey throughout ProofHub, I often fall into the trap of thinking about a bad yesterday. When something I wanted to happen didn’t, it made me upset. And those upset days made me spoil my today for long.

Perhaps I faced it, things can hurt us and make us feel sad but what matters is how we overcome that thing. We have to choose to forget and move on. In case of any bad feedback from the customers or a major drawback in what was launched, I never lose my heart. In fact, now it gives me a chance to be more determined to bring out the best.

I motivate my team at ProofHub to collaboratively work together to bigger goals that make me overcome the bad past or failure. It’s important to know that your thoughts can become your voices one day. So if you’re engulfed in the thoughts of the past, your present will be on the same path.

Racing thoughts can be a big problem when not worked on at the right time. Don’t let the sadness of your past ruin the happiness of your present. Your failed projects, your rejections, your unsuccessful projects, and bad feedback can all give way to a bright future, but it’s on the way you think. The way you allow things to happen. Work on your failures and decide who you are and who you can be aside from those failures. Remember, your past will never define you or your future.

It’s our choice to either live in the disappointments of the past or live in the present and take charge of making it happy. What’s your say?

Just be in today. What is done is done and what is gone is gone. Just move on.
