Are You At Risk?

Are You At Risk?

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when thinking about the state of our health.

Only 12% of us is metabolically healthy.

2/3 of Americans are obese or overweight, and inflamed.

50% of those 65 or older are taking at least one medication, or lots more.

1 out of 2 of us will get cancer.

200,000 children diagnosed with Type II Diabetes – and this is a disease that used to be limited to older Americans!

According to the Institute of Medicine, when they compared the health of the United States with those of economically comparable countries, our healthcare effectiveness was LAST. While we spend the most per capita on health, our outcomes are the WORST.

The coronavirus pandemic has hit us hard. Especially the elderly and those with comorbidities – a slew of lifestyle-dependent illnesses like Type II Diabetes, obesity and hypertension. Americans are not healthy. And as you have seen, it makes us vulnerable to this pandemic and to many other threats.

Yet I don't focus on the sad state of our country’s health. I hold a strong belief that the pandemic presents each one of us with an opportunity ... a clear choice ... a fork in the road.

Will we choose health or illness?

Will we accept that disease as inevitable?

Will we commit to do better for ourselves, our families and our communities?

Will we do all we can to not be vulnerable other chronic lifestyle-mediated disease and potentially the pandemic?

If you believe that you can and must do better, I invite you to join me for four weeks.

I created an online program for you to learn Practical Strategies to Boost Your Immune System. For those who know a lot or just starting out. For those with chronic disease or the seemingly health ones. For the young or the old. Males or females.

After participating in the program last fall, Susan said, "This class is a non-threatening and quick approach to learn ways to make a difference in your health.”

What I teach is universally applicable and useful for you and your family....and easy to implement.

Kelly I’m so happy that you are speaking about how we as individuals can boost our immune system! I wish everyone understood that we don’t have to get sicker as we age. Keep spreading the word and sharing your immense knowledge on the subject! I think more people than ever are ready to listen!!
