If you and I had a competition, I’d win.
Given enough time to compete, I’ll beat you, Every. Time.
I don’t care how talented you are, how much experience you have, who you know, who your mommy and daddy are, or what your resume looks like, I’ll win.
How can I be so confident? Watch the video above to find out.
Action For Today:
Today I want you to write down your 3-5 steps on how you will keep your commitment and consistency steadfast.
Not sure where to start? Consider the suggestions below:
- Ask your friends, family, boss, co-workers, gym mates or mentor to help remind you and push you forward.
- Set a series of appointments with yourself to keep you on track with what you need to be doing– regularly.
- Publish your Weekly Rhythm Register on your refrigerator, bathroom mirror, on the wall at the office, or on your blog. (I sent you a copy for you to print out in today's email feed!)
- Design ways to continually herd yourself back into the rhythms, routines and disciplines you need to stay consistent on in order to accomplish your big goals.
BTW, if you did NOT receive the email feed for any reason, subscribe to the emails using THIS FORM and on the Thank You Confirmation page, you will find the downloadable links to today's and any previous worksheets. (Don't worry if you are already subscribed, you will NOT receive multiple DarrenDaily emails if you need to use this form again!)
And if you are just joining us in the series now and missed Days 1-8 of the series, also subscribe through THIS FORM as links to previous days will be on the Thank You Page as well!
Your Daily Mentor,
-Darren

8 年And relentless consistency towards something that's NOT going to happen is the subtle burial of dreams that could come true. The point is, you don't have unlimited time and may very well not have or ever have the skill/ability to do certain things. This notion - like Sir Anthony Hopkins mantra "What one man can do, any man can do" is a pleasant sounding absurdity.
