You recognize this town?
We are working a search - matter of fact a couple of searches in a community like this.
It's the kind of place that I say that a non-violent convicted felon is an A player.
So we started doing research - it's our first time working there - and it doesn't take long to realize there aren't a lot of options.
What's that mean for your search?
When you find options you better move quickly. It's imperative.
Why?
There are 3 people in my clients community that can theoretically do the job they need done.
Which means - now that I've put them in front of you - you better take them through a good experience because we've sent you all of the options.
Truth be told there are 4 but the 4th person looked at my client's online reviews and said thanks but no thanks.

I sent those reviews to the other 3 and they said "sounds like fun" so there shouldn't be any surprises for them once they get in the door.
But they won't get in the door if you don't run an effective hiring process. An effective hiring process means that it is a priority for your team. Coach K wouldn't have won 90% of his games if he hadn't made recruiting the best players a priority.
The other option? Blow it with these three and that's it - there is no one else which means one of two things: you have to hire a lesser skillset or you have to relocate someone.
Lesser skillset is what wrecked your train in the first place and relocation has a bunch of different issues.
Make your hiring process good and the results will follow.
