Indeed this product introduced over 30 year ago in 1991, was the only RTU which could transmit SCADA commands and reports over analog 600 bps (!) voice radio and analog phone lines with 100% data reliability. Quite unusual even today.
This fantastic result was achieved thanks to implementation of the OSI/ISO 7 layers standard protocol over analog radios. At that time it proved that only a proprietary protocol can reach such achievement.
No surprise but these RTUs and their following generations are broadly used even today worldwide in SCADA applications such as Water, Sewage, electricity substations and distribution control and more.

3 年Of course. Indeed "The Moscad" itself (although I can name an older one), - loyal & reliable to these days. Proprietary protocol - not a trivial thing either
