Are you receptive?

Please don't get ahead of me on this one.

A few decades ago, someone recommended that I read The Way of the Peaceful Warrior. Since then, I've recommended it to hundreds of people along with the warning that it changed my life. I've read and recommended many books, but that was the only one that came with that warning.

Fast forward to last December. Peter Caputa introduced me to Sajeel Qureshi and Sajeel hired me to work with him and his team for a few weeks. Sajeel is a good guy and if you get the opportunity to meet him, you will like him and his team has a great reputation for doing awesome work.

Fast forward again to September 3rd. I sent Sajeel this message. "Please don't share that I asked, but I just saw that Bratislav is coming to Inbound and was wondering what the Computan team's schedule looks like to see if i could sneak down for an IRL visit. Is Gill coming? Anybody else I know besides you and Bratislav? Mrs. Sajeel?"

Short story, his team member's came from Pakistan, Argentina, Serbia and Buffalo. We had lunch in Boston's Financial District on September 17th. It was very fun. During lunch, Sajeel handed me a book and said there's a note inside. I put the note on the cover.

Sajeel, Joe reminds you of me?

Hypothesis: The 5 pillars laid out in the book along with the lessons shared in the Way of the Peaceful Warrior may be the answer to salespeople surviving AI.

If you've read both books and you want to share your thoughts and maybe work together to grow your world, grab a time on my calendar. If you haven't read them, buy them, show me proof of purchase and promise to read them and you can grab a time, too.

Thank you for the book, Sajeel and Pete for putting us together.

(How many pillars is that?)

WOW, thank you SO MUCH, Rick! What a joy to see your kind words (and the graphic) about John David Mann's and my book! And to see it included along with Dan Millman's Way of the Peaceful Warrior (one of my all-time favorites) is an extra-special bonus! And of course, Stratospheric Thanks to Sajeel Qureshi for giving it to you! Again...WOW!

Rick Roberge - To me Pindar is the main character :) . That's who reminds me of you. Primarily because of the emphasis on authenticity and understanding value when you approach different things. I mean you suggested I send voice emails to people so people get tonality. Not many people know that a voice message can even be sent through email ?? . It is my favourite book (Bob Burg wrote a masterpiece). And again Rick you do remind me of Pindar quite a bit. Although you're clearly younger and probably have the better taste in Mediterranean cuisine :) .
