You Reap What You Sow
A wonderful way to begin getting to know the two functions of your mind is to think of it as a garden. You are the gardener. You are planting seeds of thought in your subconscious mind all day long. Much of the time you are not even aware of doing so, because the seeds are based on your habitual thinking. As you sow in your subconscious mind, so shall you reap in your body and environment.
Imagine your subconscious mind as a bed of rich soil that will help all kinds of seeds to sprout and flourish, whether good or bad. If you sow thorns, will you gather grapes? If you sow thistles, will you harvest figs? Every thought is a cause, and every condition is an effect. This is the reason it is so essential that you take charge of your thoughts. In that way, you can bring forth only desirable conditions.
This is an excerpt from The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy.
I took a moment to stop after reading that because it's such a beautiful metaphor.
I've gained so much control over my emotions, my thinking, and my life. I've always been a disciplined person and I'm putting that to good use now. I've built a healthy relationship with my subconscious mind and it's given me clarity and focus in return.
I have seen my life improve in so many ways in such a short time. It has helped reinforce that everything I'm doing is working. I've been at this goal for 6 months and only in the past month have I seen some truly exciting results manifest.
Now that I can see the full cycle, I can improve my process
I'm becoming a better farmer by improving the soil of my mind and picking better seeds of thought to think. And all I have to do is meditate, sleep, meditate, journal, journal, journal, journal, and journal more lol
I feel like a crazy person whenever I talk about it but it's completely reshaping my life in front of my eyes so I just don't care. Then I think everyone else is crazy for not doing it.
Despite all the "bad" shit in my life right now, I don't let it affect me. I don't ignore it, I let it guide me and visualize myself overcoming it. I make hard decisions that empower me to deal with it to the best of my ability. And I trust that no matter what, I've done all that I can and cannot be responsible for anything more. We can't control what happens to us, we can only control how we choose to react to it.

I am just so damn grateful and appreciative of what I have that all I can see in front of me is how beautiful life truly is. I am so happy that this is just my life now. And all I had to do was choose how I live it.
I am so fucking proud of how far I've come and just so incredibly excited for how much farther I have to go : )
