Surely a Leadership without the ‘so called’ Leader is like a ship without its Captain – how’s it going to cope??

So much so…

So much so, that myself and Caela don’t even take our laptops away when we take a holiday or family break.

We don’t need to, because we are simply now part of a fantastic and more than capable team, with systems and procedures in place that drill organisional awareness through the business from the top down – and, most importantly, from the bottom up.

No point having procedures if you don't communicate and test them.

OK, so the wheel comes off from time to time.

Mercedes F1 is constantly back in the pits for this that and the other – but that is the plan. That’s exactly what Toto Wolff and his incredible team need to happen to measure, develop, measure, develop – all to keep on top or their game.

So a business, small, medium and large, can’t develop without plans to deal with problems, decision-makers in times of difficulty, KPIs to control and develop.

If I wanted to keep in touch, I could pull up SimPRO to check on quotes, conversions, materials, work scheduling, completions, sign off and certification – just as clients can, through our bespoke Client Portal.

If I wanted to, I could pull up Trello, the simplest day-to-day real-time communications tool we use to manage Leadership issues and resolutions - and it's free!.

But I don’t…
