Are YOU ready for SaaStock 2024?

I recently joined forces with SaaStock taking up the position of UK Ambassador and let me just say this: the team is working on something special for the annual Dublin event in October.

For years, SaaStock has been widely known for its Dublin conference - and for good reason. Wearing the crown of Europe’s leading SaaS event, it’s become a staple in most calendars and this year it’s bringing the community more value than it ever has before. From October 14th - 16th, SaaStock is back in Ireland to do what it does best and I’m more than excited to be a part of it. As part of my new UK Ambassador role, I’ll be working with our event partners and doing all I can to set them up for a successful conference. So, let’s dive into it.

The SaaStock Story

It all started in 2016 when Alex Theuma (Founder & CEO) published his first SaaS blog. His writing gathered attention pretty quickly which allowed him to build a community and root himself as one of the early influencers in European SaaS. The following then led to the first ever SaaStock event in 2017 and, as they say, the rest is history. Fast forward to today, the Dublin event has since connected thousands of global SaaS professionals and facilitated countless investments, mergers and acquisitions all under one roof. Outside of Dublin, SaaStock also hosts annual events in Austin TX, founder retreats from Morocco to Mykonos, and smaller local events as far flung as Athens and Bangalore.

What is SaaStock 2024?

To put it simply, it’s a community-driven B2B SaaS event spanning three days. It’s where SaaS professionals come to strengthen their network, learn from the best in the business and accelerate their opportunities. From early and growth stage startups to investors, there’s an experience laid out for everyone, which is why it attracts decision makers from far and wide. Founders, CEOs, revenue leaders, marketing leaders, finance leaders, customer success leaders and more, the quality of the SaaStock audience is a huge factor in setting it apart from other SaaS events. This year, the focus on networking opportunities will make it easier than ever to get in front of customers, investors, partners and thought leaders throughout all three days.

Event partners are typically B2B SaaS solution providers, but other organisations that do business with SaaS companies also find huge value from the event, including banks, law firms, and the larger tech companies (e.g. AWS, Microsoft) who run startup programmes.

What’s new at SaaStock 2024?

The team is bringing networking to the heart of the event. We want to take the luck out of meeting the right people and instead ensure you do. We’ve all been to so many events where the ROI just doesn’t match up with the effort you put in. So this year, SaaStock is not only putting the networking area in the centre of the venue but also introducing new opportunities such as exclusive dinners, boardroom meetings over a breakfast or lunch, coaching and masterclass sessions, private meeting rooms, meet and greets and more - all to allow attendees and partners to join and host more in-depth or confidential conversations. I said there’s an experience for everyone and there is. This year there’ll be a series of experiences tailored to your job role and growth stage of your business. Meaning, a CMO and a CFO who attend together will have their own networking and content opportunities laid out for them. That could be joining a CMO boardroom breakfast in the morning or going to a CFO masterclass in the afternoon. There really is something for everyone.?

The Beauty of Dublin

The location can make or break any conference. The Irish charm mixed with the growing tech scene makes Dublin the perfect fit. From opening parties to the main event, SaaStock intertwines itself with the city and offers something pretty memorable. In 2019, I helped run a pub crawl for SaaStock attendees and people still talk to me about it today! But, it’s not just all about the ‘craic’, SaaStock also hosts a 5k morning run, yoga sessions and a bunch of side-events that ensures the trip delivers something for everyone.

When I first started Sales Confidence, SaaStock was the perfect place to make connections, particularly with tech companies expanding throughout the UK and Europe. I quickly learned from fellow founders about how to build a business and gained insight that still helps me today. Getting Started When you throw yourself wholeheartedly into SaaStock, you make memories and create connections that last a lifetime. I’m excited to represent SaaStock as the UK Ambassador and leverage my connections to support an excellent event. SaaStock delivers enormous benefits to partners who want to get in front of a large and valuable audience of SaaS professionals. That’s why I’m so happy to be involved. Stay tuned for future posts where I’ll tell you more about it!
