Are You Ready for New Beginnings?
We are getting ready for the most festive season of the year in the majority of world cultures - greetings from Canada to everyone! Many people throughout the generations have taken time during the winter months to celebrate the end of the year and the beginning of a new one. And while you can see many differences in the events we celebrate, and how we do so, they all have similar aspects of togetherness, reflection, and enjoyment. (https://www.culturaldiversityresources.org/single-post/winter-celebrations-around-the-world).
Today, during dark economic times for the world, I would like to embrace and celebrate people's career resilience: their ability to pursue their goals in the face of adversity - job losses, toxic work environments, failed projects, or unrealized promotions; their ability to unite and share their energy, wisdom, and resources with others and keep true to their purpose in life.
It is a great time to reflect on ourselves and what we’ve learned about our strengths, weaknesses, accomplishments, setbacks, relationships, actions, and feelings during this year: when was the last time you paused?and really thought about the changes you've endured?over the last few years??What's been the impact of those changes?on your overall success and happiness??

What is/was important to me
-What do I notice about myself in this situation?
-When am I being too hard on myself?
-When am I at my best?
-What am I learning to appreciate?
Numerous studies have shown?that people who play to their strengths on a regular basis?are more productive and happier than those who don't.?Who doesn't want to achieve great things?and enjoy the process??This is especially true in our careers.?Imagine a career that you enjoy?and where you feel like the work you do is valuable.?It will help you to stand out, be the most efficient person on your team, make an impact and build positive alliances in your organization. It will help you to decide what is next in your career and discover the right direction to follow (new ideas, new people, new organizations, or even a new industry).
Focus on your strengths and not your limitations!
Get prepared for the new beginnings!
Have a wonderful and joyful holiday season!
