ARE YOU READY TO JOIN THE CHALLENGE?

NATO Challenge/ODU Lion's Lair Innovation Competition Registration Opens Aug 15!

One of NATO’s important missions is to respond to crisis. While these events may be caused by a variety of factors, ranging from conflict, to natural disaster, there are common operational issues that occur every time NATO is engaged. In addition, all response organizations, local or international, face similar challenges in a crisis. The purpose of the NATO Challenge / Old Dominion University Lion’s Lair Innovation Competition is to tap into the minds of innovative people and teams to find more effective and efficient ways for NATO, or other response organizations, to stabilize troubled areas and save lives.

 One Competition, Three Prizes

Prizes for winners include the opportunity to present their solution in an upcoming NATO-wide event at NATO expense. Select winning teams may be eligible to partner with MD5 National Security Technology Accelerator (including access to prototyping resources and up to $15,000 of project funding) to advance their concepts; and the Lion's Lair Prize for Regional Innovation.

Everyone Can Participate, Onsite or Remotely

The Innovation Challenge begins Aug 15 and ends Oct 27 with the Pitch Day and Awards Ceremony held at Old Dominion University and live online.
