Are you crazy to fast ?
As we know, feasting & fasting have been a tradition for centuries.
In the UK, where i live, it's probably fair to say it is still regarded as a bit crazy & a little unknown. It's probably, therefore, only human to ask questions such as, will i faint ? will i get hunger pains ? Is it healthy ?
Many scientists will tell you &, i firmly believe, there is no doubt that intermittent fasting can work & can deliver significant health benefits but it is not for everyone.
It has been used successfully for many centuries. Dr Michael Mosley's 5:2 diet has become the health phenomenon of our times but is this radical approach (the Fast diet ?) to weight loss really as simple as it sounds ? Is it sustainable in our busy, go go lives ?
