Please share the 'Small is Beautiful' Roll of Honour

Speaker, Author, Poet & Campaigner. READ "The Happipreneur" & HOST our "Be More Hapipreneur" Show. Chair: Yorkshire in Business Ltd. Founder, Micro Business Alliance. Director, ORB. #PayIn30Days & 3.8M #ExcludedUK.
This 'Small is Beautiful' Roll of Honour can be signed by organisations of any size. Please put in the comments box the name of your organisation and the name of someone in control of the organisation who will uphold the values.
EF Schumacher predicted in 1973 that many large corporations would never say 'enough' and would exploit employees and suppliers, engender inequality and destroy our communities and the planet.
Happily, there are a small number of large corporations and many medium-sized businesses which along with most small and micro business owners do believe in Schumacher's 'Small is Beautiful' values.
It is important that we recognise these organisations and choose to do business with them.
By preferring to buy from those on this 'Small is Beautiful' Roll of Honour we send a message to the exploiters and bullies. Eventually, we will convince sector leading organisations that it is good for their business and good for our communities to subscribe to our 'Small is Beautiful' values.
These values include:
1. #PayIn30Days ALL suppliers ALL the time
2. Promoting equality and diversity
3. A fair day's work for a fair day's pay
4. Protecting our environment and communities
5. Unlimited growth is pathological
6. Small can make a difference and should be supported.
We first published the Small is Beautiful Roll of Honour (includes the #MicroBizMatters Hall of Fame) on our 5th Annual #MicroBizMatters Day on Friday, 11th January 2019. Our social media Day of Recognition, Action and Learning reached over one million people - giving time to help each other. We call this the #PowerOfPlenty.
The Small is Beautiful Roll of Honour will be published in a new book on 'Why #MicroBizMatters?' which will be in bookstores in July 2020. Please add your name NOW if you wish to be included in the book.
This Small is Beautiful Roll of Honour lists the businesses and people supporting EF Schumacher's and #MicroBizMatters' values.
We should all promote and buy from organisations on the Roll of Honour.

Check out the names on this powerful Roll of Honour - then add yours.
Membership organisations, networks, businesses, social enterprises, charities and individuals have watched a 2 minutes video at the end of this article and having agreed to the values expressed in the 'Small is Beautiful' video added their name in the comments box. If you agree with these values please add your name and business name too.
The second version of the Small is Beautiful Roll of Honour will be be published online and in print on the 6th Annual, #MicroBizMatters Day on Friday, 10th January 2020. The Roll of Honour will send a strong message to Government, government agencies and large corporations of the value, importance and power of small and micro businesses (99% of all businesses in the UK).
The names on the Roll of Honour backing Small is Beautiful: Economics as if People Mattered, will signify that bullying through procurement, policies, behaviour, compliance, tender, licensing, rates, taxes, trade, pricing, contract, media, social media, payment terms and practice must stop in order to create a fairer, healthier, growing economy and better society for all.
Time to commit to 'small is beautiful'?
It is 45 years since Ernst F. Schumacher's 'Small is Beautiful: Economics as if People Mattered' was published. It is seven years since we formed our very informal, free, no membership, no contact details required #MicroBizMatters movement. We're best known for our annual social media day of celebration, recognition, action and learning - #MicroBizMatters Day and our campaigns #PayIn30Days, #PowerOfPlenty and #Indie25ER.
We promote and work with all the major small and micro business membership organisations and networks and backed by very many famous entrepreneurs, who you will see on the Roll of Honour, who have given their time totally free of charge
If you are willing for your business, network, social enterprise, membership organisation or charity to be seen publicly to back us, enter your business name or name, if you prefer, in the comments below - no contact details required or requested.
To help you decide
In 2015 I was fortunate to be asked to do my little 'Micro is Magic' show at the second 'Small is Beautiful' Conference in a prestigious Glasgow theatre with an enthusiastic group of speakers and audience of creative micro business owners from all over the world. It remains the most inspiring I have ever attended, and there have been a few.
There was the shared belief at the Conference that we as micro business owners, in collaboration, can change the world for the better. Bigger is not always best for work and self-fulfilment, communities and the environment. The pursuit of ever-increasing wealth is not the reason most people start their enterprises. Human activity shouldn't be about the 'rich get rich, and the poor get poorer' (EF Schumacher & Leonard Cohen). The relentless pursuit of GDP, profits and 'growth' isn't the only way ahead nor is it the best way. Smaller can be better.
As Schumacher said; 'Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex and more violent. It takes a touch of genius and a lot of courage - to move in the opposite direction'. Roanne Dodds and Deborah Keogh showed that genius and that courage in co-founding and organising the Small is Beautiful Conference in 2014, 2015 and 2016. #Sadly, in early 2017, the truly inspirational, warm-hearted, dancer, lawyer and creative, Roanne died, aged 52.
Watch this 2 minutes video - it is moving.
Roanne commissioned a two-minute video to turn the ten point, long and impassioned Small is Beautiful Conference manifesto into some concise values we can all share, and we hope your organisation might back.
We recommend this video to help you decide whether to back our 'small is beautiful' values and #MicroBizMatters If you decide to back these values then please leave your name and business name in the comments box. Your name will be added to the Roll of Honour to be published on Friday, 10 January, 2020 #MicroBizMatters Day 6. Here's the 2 minutes video >
