SS7 network vulnerabilities isn't something new and it has been here for many years, however, increased regulation around customers data privacy together with advanced hacking techniques by hackers is putting pressure on operators to revise their security measures in order to defend themselves from security breaches and data leakage to hostile parties.
A recent research done by "Priority One Security” presents a visual SS7 Risk Map by region and country with the potential risks companies and customers face.
@ Enghouse our research team has been evaluating the problem for years and developing advanced tools to protect operators from such risks.
If you face such risks or would like to educate yourself around the potential risks to your business, I welcome your comments or questions

9 年It is often the point of an operator's own knowledge in SS7 vulnerabilities. I'm sure a direct PSI from another network will reveal a subscriber's location, even when ATI is blocken per GT in HLR
