Are You Producing Quality Content?

It’s easy to simply publish and churn out content - but it’s another to actually engage consumers and build a loyal base. Content marketing may be all the jazz right now, but very few brands have a solid strategy in place. A study by Content Marketing Institute showed that only 41% of brands had documented their marketing strategy - an abysmally low figure. Can brands really afford to keep things so breezy in such a competitive environment? There’s massive potential just waiting to be unlocked, so here’s a short guide on how to achieve your targets.


  1. Utilize Personalized Stories

Give yourself a competitive boost by truly understanding your target market. Segmenting well is an underrated skill. Figure out where they are in your sales funnel and ask specific questions to relate - and thus enjoy higher engagement rates. Make your story come alive, and connect it to your current relationship with a set of customers. 

2. Allow Users to Tell Your Story

What better way to increase authenticity AND work on a big pool of content than use your valued customers to tell a story for you. Take a look at GoPro, famous for making normal customers the hero of the story. The most powerful form of marketing is genuine - word of mouth, testimonials, and such other forms of user-generated content straight hits goals that other marketing tactics can only dream of.  

3. Diversify!

You can’t reach wide audiences by simply following the same standard channel. Diversify your medium, incorporate vlogs, short clips, webinars, podcasts, short blogs, long articles and so much more! That’s bound to really get that traffic coming in. Stop relying on the industry standard, you want to be known as the trailblazing lion, for going above and beyond not the boring sheep who follows along.
