Are you preparing a pitch deck for your business?

Are you preparing a pitch deck for your business?

Here, I would like to share what I have learned about creating a pitch deck.?

1.Title?: Most presenters give an overview of their companies and themselves on this slide.

(My learnings are if your storyline allows, please introduce yourself following the slide with the description of the problem.)?

2.Problem?: Display pictures, graphics, or figures on slides. Inform them of the issue verbally.

(My learnings are to organize your storyline so that it shows how this issue inspires you to seek a solution. For instance, if you are an expert in a certain technical area and you are confident in your ability to tackle the problem or else If you have found a way to address your own difficulty yet ultimately you have discovered a market opportunity, include that information in your slides. It demonstrates your level of commitment.)

3.Solution?: Display the results of your product or service through photographs and user reviews. List the product or service attributes' keywords on slides. With the right engaging slides, verbally explain the solution.

(My learnings are the right side of your brain will operate better when you use images, art, and insights. On the other hand, reasoning, written language, and spoken language will use our left side of the brain. A balanced activation of both sides of the audience's brain will encourage more engagement with us.)

4.Market Opportunity?: Conduct research on the total market size, then narrow down your target audience.

(One of my learnings is to continue focusing on a specific niche audience. It can assist you in a number of ways, including: Increasing audience relevance when creating content and marketing messages, knowing audience demands better, fewer competition, lower marketing costs, and increased consumer loyalty.)

5.Sales Forecast & Revenue Model: I learned that you can display your present sales figures and your revenue model's projected growth if your enterprise has already entered the market. Give a brief description of how you plan to approach your target audience if your product or service is still in the conceptual design stage and highlight your estimation of sales figures.

6.Competitor Landscape: Create a unique selling proposition for your product or service that sets it apart from the competition.?

(One lesson I've learned is to retain an easy-to-read table style by emphasizing the selling point of your good or service.)

7.

: Describe the product's current state as well as its potential future position.?

(My learning is the discussion of where and how you plan to spend the winning prize money during the go-to-market process.)

8.Finally, summarize the story in one or two sentences by referring back to the problem and the solution. And gratidude slide to seal the deal.

(My lessons learned include maintaining the same level of energy in the voice, using different tones instead of being monotone to engage the audience, and practicing your speech in front of a mirror until you are happy with how you come across.)
