You OWN your Visibility

Fear is the biggest hurdle when it comes to showing up online and marketing your own business.

Fear of the unknown. Fear of not being enough or knowing enough. Imposter syndrome is real and not something you just shake off.

What might surprise you though is that those are just peripheral fears. The fear that is really holding you back is simply the fear of stepping into the light and succeeding.

Is your mind spinning? Mine was too the first time I was confronted with this thought.

What is keeping you in the shadows?

When I started my photography business seven years ago, I spent the first year lurking in the shadows. Becoming an entrepreneur at the age of 52 was overwhelming (understatement of the year), exhilarating (it still is) and just the beginning of a journey into personal growth.

Before I found the courage to actually show up for myself and my clients, I had to dig deep into my own fears and dreams to gain clarity and courage to move forward.

We never walk this journey alone and I'm grateful for so many other women (and men) who have pushed me, encouraged me and walked alongside me to find my own path. This is where so much of our growth happens.

I'm going to give a shout-out to all the women from Polka Dot Powerhouse Worldwide . This group of women has been instrumental in helping me become VISIBLE & THRIVING.

As you embark on your journey of owning your visibility with me, I want you to write down the fears that are holding you back. Naming them is the first step in acknowledging where you are and finding ways to leverage those fears.

Stepping in front of the camera is probably one of your fears. So let's dive in to the deeper lying fears and turn them into stepping stones so you can show up with confidence and ease.
