You Only Get What You Can Handle.
You Only Get What You Can Handle.

You Only Get What You Can Handle.

No man or woman is an island.

This realization continues to slap me in the face as my business grows.

And the more that I try to fight this notion, the more the reality of this statement begins to take on a life of its own.

But what does this statement mean to you?

In your quest to achieve more, attain your goals, advance your career, or grow your business, you will only be able to accomplish so much on your own.

Yes, stepping outside of our comfort zone allows for even more growth. But there is a ceiling. There are only so many hours in a day and you are only one person.

Remember when you were younger, you would say that you prefer to work alone. That you would rather study by yourself. And how things are so much simpler by yourself. And while that seems like a good idea, it only works for just a little while.

You see, two heads are definitely better than one. Four hands are better than two. And brainstorming is best when you have a few people involved. The challenge is the coordination and structure.

You must do your best to reduce the chaos or confusion when more than one person is involved. And when reduction in chaos can be achieved, magic can happen. When all are working in concert, the music sounds even more wonderful.

So, my challenge for you today is to permanently make this shift. Realize that while you can accomplish much on your own, you can achieve so much more with a partner. And go even farther with a team.

God will only gift you as much as YOU can handle. Let's commit to opening ourselves up for even more gifts by ceasing to think about the future singularly.

Let's crush our goals in plural.

In life and in business, if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go farther, go together. ~Bill Gates

To relinquish control is a form of faith. Once practiced, it continually becomes easier to do. Thanks for the insight.
