Many of you would have crossed a low-income community. You might have shied away or you might have become concerned.
If you were concerned, you might want to change it. Be of help.
Have you felt so?
Ok. Let us say, you are a parent. You know your Children are getting better opportunities.
The Children you see here can't even get closer to those opportunities. Hence, you are sure you can help the Children there.
Good news is this!
Yes! You have the resources to help.
Skills, connections, money.
Little or a lot doesn't matter. Own or others doesn't matter. If you are reading this, you sure have access to some.
What is holding you back?
The only thing holding you back might be your current comfort zone.
No doubt, venturing into a new action like helping low-income Children become better will drain you of energy. It might leave you clueless.
Fear not!?

Many like you have ventured and succeeded. You too will.
All it needs is Patience and perseverance.?
Over my 10 Years of work with low-income communities, I realized each community is different, and thus their needs are.
The more time you spend with them the easier it will be for you.
You just have to start making a few friends there.
Act slow. That is fine. You are not going to solve all the problems in one year. Don't start work unless you intend to work there for 10 years.
What would comfort you?
In ten years, if you have made a few 10-year-old children grow into better 20-year-old youths, your Job is done.
Actually! Beyond Job done! You have transformed yourself and a big-good community.
I am not encouraging you to quit everything and start something. That is a different approach for a different day.
For today.?
Take . One . Action . At a time.
Wherever you are.
