Are You Obeying Yeshua?

John 14:15 (TLV) 15“If you love Me, you will keep My /////commandments.

Yeshua further states His words not mine

?John 14:20–21 (TLV) 20“In that day, you will know that I am in My Father, you are in Me, and I am in you. 21He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. He who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.”

?What are Yeshua’s commandments are they the just two commandments to Love God and Love your neighbor?

Matthew 22:37–40 (TLV) 37And He said to him, “?‘You shall love Adonai your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40The entire Torah and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

?Notice that Yeshua Said that the first and greatest commandment is to love Yah with all your heart soul and mind. If you love God with all your heart soul and mind you will have a desire to obey all His WORD! Every jot and tittle. Does this mean you obey HIS WORD to earn Salvation God forbid this would make Yeshua's death and resurrection for nothing. We obey because we love HIM not because we must Obey to get to Heaven

The second commandment is to Love your neighbor as yourself. If we don’t Love God with all our hearts and our soul and our mind, we cannot love our neighbor as ourselves. How do we love our neighbor as ourselves? All these instructions are written in the Hebrew Bible. Yeshua Said all the Torah (Law, Instructions, precepts, ordinances, and commandments) and all the Prophet's teachings hang on these two commandments. What does that mean? That means if you obey the greatest commandments, you can obey All Torah and the Prophets.

? Israel and the Jewish people refer to the Torah as the Law or the books of Moses. Then you have the books of the prophets. Did Yeshua Do away with the Torah and the Prophets??If Yeshua did, then He would have sinned against His own instructions.

What did Yeshua say about the Law and the prophets?

Matthew 5:17–19 (NASB95PARA) 17?“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. 18?For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19?Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

?Yeshua plainly says that He didn’t come to abolish the Law.?What does that mean? That means the word written in the Torah are active and still in place for all to obey.?What does He mean when he says to fulfill the Law?

??Yeshua meets the requirement of the Law by obeying it. He had to obey for us to receive salvation because it’s in His Righteousness we are saved. Interesting to note that in the following scriptures.

?Matthew 5:20 (NASB95PARA) 20?“For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.

For the rest of the chapter, Yeshua explains that if you have thought of the sin you have already sinned in your heart.

Who does the bible say who Yeshua is?

?John 1:1–5 (TLV): 1 In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 All things were made through Him, and apart from Him nothing was made that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overpowered it.

John 1:12–14 (TLV): 12 But whoever did receive Him, those trusting in His name, to these He gave the right to become children of God. 13 They were born not of a bloodline, nor of human desire, nor of man’s will, but of God. 14 And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. We looked upon His glory, the glory of the one and only from the Father, full of grace and truth.

?John 1:16–18 (TLV): 16 Out of His fullness, we have all received grace on top of grace. 17 Torah was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Yeshua the Messiah. 18 No one has ever seen God; but the one and only God, in the Father’s embrace, has made Him known.

What is the Word of God?

Anything God has said in the Bible through Moses or any other Prophet. Gods first Spoken word to us was to let there be Light Yeshua is the Spoken word of Yah

Genesis 1:3–4 (NASB):? 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.

Yeshua is the spoken word of God so when Yeshua said if you love me you will obey me he was speaking of all the commandments in the bible From Genius to Revelation

?God created everything by His Spoken Word. In Revelations, Yeshua is Called?“THE Word OF God”

Revelation 19:13–14 (NASB): 13 And He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood; and His name is called The Word of God.

So when Yeshua say's if you Love me you will obey me. He is talking about everything that God has spoken out of His mouth. Not just the Ten Commandments but every thing that God said in the Old Testament. You don't obey to get into in heaven. The only way to Heaven is to believe and have faith in Yeshua our Messiah believe in His death and ressurection. Believe in the only beggoten Son of God. How much do you love God?

All of His Ordinances is Everlasting

Psalm 119:160 (NASB): 160 The sum of Thy word is truth, And every one of Thy righteous ordinances is everlasting.

God's ordinances do not go away even Yeshua says that. Those who teach that teach in error.

Now we can only obey ordinances that apply to us. For instance if you are a man the ordinances for woman do not apply and you are unable to obey. If you are not a farmer those ordinances do not apply. ETC. The next newsletter I will go more into what laws and who they apply to.
