you never know

You never know what’s going to hit.

When I hit publish on yesterday’s Daily Note, I told my friends that I didn’t feel as if the note was my best work, but it was good enough to send out; I’ll never send a note that I don’t feel has a good message, but I will hit send even if I don’t think it’s my best writing–not everything has to be “the best”...perfection is the enemy of great.

I know my friend’s quote about courage and patience was perfect, and that’s what I wanted to get out into the world–how I told the story and the surrounding text were just alright.

Throughout the day I received email responses, text messages, and DM’s about how much yesterday’s note resonated with others.

Hands down, the note generated the most feedback in a while.

You never know what’s going to hit.

And since “courage” was such a popular subject, I want to share another quote that was sent to me yesterday in response to the Daily Note…I absolutely love it.
