YOU NEVER KNOW HOW THING WILL TURN OUT

Yesterday morning in Barnet Hertfordshire, the rain fell, the wind blew, and it was freezing cold standing on the touchline watching my grandson (9) and his team lose 4 goals to 8 to a football team of kids a level up in their league.

What a great start to a Sunday.

But later, as we walked with friends in Kenwood, Hampstead, North London, the sun came out, and Mother Nature put on a breathtaking display for us.

Now is the time of the Rhododendrons and Azaleas.

We may experience dark and dreary days but savour the joy of simple things and glorious moments.

After all, without rain, our flowers, plants, and food crops will not grow.
