Why do we use negotiator in a negative sense?

Why is a negotiator considered as a jerk, a mean and aggressive person who wants to take away the most at the other person's expense?

Why does negotiation means - one party loses and another party wins.

You are in negotiations all the day at all stages of life wherever you are. Every time you want someone to say "YES" and "AGREE" with you - you are negotiating. If you say "I want", "I need" or "I think" - you are in negotiation.?

Negotiation must not be used as a bad word.

Remember you are never negotiating with a person - in a negotiation both the parties are in the same boat - they are negotiating a situation and both are struggling with the same aspect. Both have the same objective to solve the problem together.

Never be shy of negotiating - never discourage negotiation - Negotiation is the most positive activity.

Negotiation is the solution - it is the way of life - every successful negotiation opens new opportunity windows for both parties.

Great negotiation is about great cooperation and collaboration.

Great negotiators understand the other party's perspective, their point of view, their take on things, how they see it, and what they feel and then negotiate for a win-win.

Good negotiation means a Win-Win. At the end of every good negotiation there is growth for both the parties.
