PEF Daily Devotional For Entrepreneurs/Professionals - 10 November 2022

Verse - Acts 11:14 He will tell you how you and everyone in your household can be saved!’

Practical Message.?

No one was born with the knowledge and wisdom for everything.?

There are many people who desire to take a particular path in life, career and business that could change their lives forever and because they do not have or seek someone to tell them what to do, teach them the ways of that path, coach and mentor them with practical experience, they mess up here and there and end up struggling for so many years.?

It does not mean you should not try new things on your own to stretch your capabilities. It means, in the place of seeking, be intentional about being teachable and coachable for more effective and transformational results.?

For example, you can seek the path on your own and take 10 years to succeed and someone who seeks the path plus coaching and mentoring can take 2 years to achieve what you took 10 years. And when you all clock 10 years, the later will be far more successful than the former.?

In our main verse, a man by name Cornelius had an encounter with an angel, the angel instructed him to invite Peter into his household who will tell him (Cornelius) how he and his household can be saved.?

Why did the angel direct him to Peter?

?Simple, Peter had been with Jesus Christ, Peter had been with the other disciples, Peter had been preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God therefore he had the first hand experience to lead Cornelius and his household through the salvation experience.?

Answer these questions;

- That your spiritual walk, who is walking with you and teaching you?

- That marriage, who is walking with you and mentoring you?

- That career path you have chosen, who is accompanying you with the relevant experience and insights?

- That business (industry), who is coaching you on the industry dynamics and how to navigate them??

No one was born with the knowledge and wisdom for everything. We all need someone and someone needs us. Praise God

Prayer point:

Lord, connect me to the right people who will contribute positively to my rising according to Your will.?

Father, instill into me the spirit to learn and the humility to ask for directions.?
