YOU NEED TO BE PRESERVED

By the special grace of God, I regard it a very great honour to be in the position to share my message for the YEAR 2021 with you and I believe today which is 01/01/2021 is a special day, a day you will never forget. Are you ready to know the rationale or the secret behind your past situations? If you are ready can I hear you say “Thank You, Jesus”. 

People of God, permit me to share with you the message of our Lord Jesus Christ. The design of this message is to inspire you to give God your heart and let your eyes observe His ways. Say to yourself “I will be inspired in a new way”. 

One of the greatest gifts God has given us is the freedom to make decisions, all of us who have fallen have made a decision but all of us who have not fallen faced similar temptation but made a different decision. People of God, you can choose to let the one who created you to help you in all you do. I mean if you relied on the strength of God, He will always find ways and means of using foolish things such as sickness, rejection, career failure, limitation in progress, persecution and disappointment to preserve you so that when the evil days are over He will release you and bless you with all the expedient essentials of life you needed in order to survive in this life. 

Children of God, as you stand on your way through your fears, failures and the extreme discouragement that comes because you have failed, please turn them around and look at them as life lessons as we listen to today’s message titled “YOU NEED TO BE PRESERVED”. 

Our prove texts shall be taken from the Book of Genesis 37:23 and Genesis 39:20. 

Our message “YOU NEED TO BE PRESERVED”. 

As at the time Joseph had the dream of his future, he was too young to appreciate and acknowledge the glory that lay ahead of him. If Joseph had become Prime Minister earlier on than the time he did in the royal court in Egypt, he would have been too inexperienced to handle the position. So the hard times he went into the dry pit, the hard times he suffered and endured in Potiphar’s house and finally in the prison were God’s own way of preserving him for the glory ahead. It was during this period that Joseph gains the requisite experience and maturity to handle the responsibilities imposed by the exalted position in the royal court in Egypt. What lessons do we learn? 

On something wonderful, beautiful and giant is created that wouldn’t have been possible without a wound. Remember No wound, No Pearl, No Suffering, No Success. Ask any successful people in Christ Jesus and they will tell you the amount of humiliation, persecution, constant rejection, limitation, failure and disappointment they need to suffer and endure in order to come to a new level in life. My mentor PROPHET TB JOSHUA says “Successful people don’t just drift to the top, it takes focused-action, personal discipline and a lot of energy to make things happen”. In order for you to make things happen as a child of God, you need to feel strong in challenges knowing that your personal improvements and fulfilments in life come through knowing that life is a learning experience and that you need to be preserved. People of God you can only be preserved by your present darkness by making God’s Word the standard of your life without harbouring and nurturing offence in our heart. 

Many today don’t want to learn, many today are afraid of this or that. Because we need to be preserved we must be ready to learn through the daily things that happen around us. The Bible says “As long as we live, we must still learn”. The Apostles did not neglect human means in seeking the necessities in life or their own instruction. As children of God, we will continue to learn through the daily things that happen around us for life is a high school of learning where the necessary truths are imbibed. That is, life is a college of God and in the college of God, however brilliant you might be, you won’t be given double promotion, you need to take each course because it course serves a purpose and that each course is a way of preserving and preparing you for the future. 

As a would-be leader, you need to be prepared in the areas of mind management, human management, material management and self-control like Joseph. The way to the place where your throne is situated may not be in your father’s house, your country or even in your continent but in the place where God want it to be. Child of God as you stand on your way towards the place where your throne is situated, life which comes from God will begin to teach the necessary lessons you must learn in order to handle the responsibilities that are laid ahead of you. People of God, the only time you can learn is when God uses any of the foolish things to preserve you. That is, we learn through the period of preservation. Remember that the challenges you are facing are not meant to impair you but rather they are meant to improve. When you are in such situations, learn to praise God with one thought in mind that “The purpose of life is to glorify God in both good times and hard times alike”. Those who bless God in trouble prove their son-ship. Child of God, keep in mind that when you are going through the period of preservation, there is a need to prove your son-ship by exalting God in your present darkness which may be sickness, failure in academics, disappointment, persecution and rejection. The year 2020 was the year God preserved all of us for the glory of 2021.

People of God, people will challenge you and question you. They will try to get you off track but please don’t listen to the temptation to act out of character. As children of God, our hard times are for a purpose because they render to us an opportunity to learn the necessary lessons we need in order to handle the duties and responsibilities that are lying ahead of us and hence preserving us. 

In summary to our message titled “YOU NEED TO BE PRESERVED”, people of God, when God knows that the breakthrough you are fervently praying for when given will lead you to death or destruction, He will use foolish things such as disappointment, rejection, hardship, failure and sickness to preserve you, to strengthen your desire for Him and to prepare you for the challenges ahead. Children of God, God’s times is the best and at his time all things are beautiful. My father in Lord PROPHET TB JOSHUA says “When times are stable and the sea is calm and secure no one is really tested” When it is time to go up, it is time to be tested. 

I believe there can be no higher or greater aspiration or goal in life than the zeal to reach Jesus. So people of God lets come together to aim high to reach high because we need to be preserved. I leave you in the presence of God and I pray to meet you again in His presence.
